Its recipe combines red pepper purée and onions with jalapeño, red chilli, garlic, white wine vinegar and lemon juice, producing a sweet-and-savoury condiment rather than a conventional fruit jam. The verified recipe contains 7% jalapeño and 4% red chilli, includes fruit pectin and may contain mustard.
